Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway

 

Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway is 1318 km long with the design speed of 350km/h. It departs from Beijing South Railway Station, and terminates at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. It was commenced on April 18th, 2008 and open to public at the end of June 2011.

The preliminary study of major technology and economic problems of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway was awarded the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1997.
