Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway
Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway is the first high-speed railway with the design speed of 350km/h. It starts from Beijing South Railway Station; ends in Tianjin Railway Station with the total length of 120km. It was commenced on July 4th, 2005 and open to public on August 1st, 2008.
The project was awarded the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award (First Class) in 2012, and the precise engineering survey was awarded the National Gold Medal in 2008.
